Well, we did it. First gig played, and for a good cause.
On Sunday 28th May, we got down to the Q Inn in Stalybridge where a mini-festival had been organised to raise funds for those afffected by the attack in Manchester the week before. The event was opened by Sleeping Dogs, whose drummer, Aaron, had the great idea of hosting the event. After a half hour slot, we were followed by Stone Mile, Brendon Eric, Crash Landing, and an acoustic set from the fantastic Mowhawk Radio. Sleeping dogs completed the day with a second session.
All in all, well over £800 was raised and will be making its way to the appropriate fund.
You can see the very nicely shot photos by Tony Standen here, and vids of a few of the tunes here.
